1981 Jaguar XJ6 with 47K miles. Repainted approximately 15 years ago in the original Chestnut brown basecoat/clearcoat by the previous owner due to the original paint cracking. It has never required any body work or rust repairs, as it has been garage kept its entire life. The vehicle had been sitting for about 10 years before acquisition, and wouldn’t start due to a contaminated fuel system. The left tank was removed, cleaned, and resealed, then reinstalled with a new fuel pump, filter, fuel lines, fuel sending unit, fuel changeover valve (left electrically disconnected because only the left tank is being used; the right tank needs cleaning and resealing and is currently isolated), and the fuel pressure regulator and fuel injection hoses were replaced. There is paint damage around the left fuel filler cap. The original welded exhaust was cut before the left resonator to allow for tank removal and was reconnected with a saddle clamp, but it ideally should be welded. The rest of the original exhaust system is fine.
Included are a box of spares and several workshop manuals, featuring a factory workshop manual and the original owner’s manual. Located in North Central WV (26416 Philippi WV)
